My mom and I spoke today:

She wants a man to chase me for once and fall head over heels in love with me. I agree with her. I should not have to chase and do all the work. He  will come, I know he will. He will see me and never want to give me up.

Punishment

It’s like being a successful woman gets you punished. I have a college degree, am driven, looking for a job/ internship, I think pretty good looking (not to sound cocky). I get punished for being that way with maybe not all men but most, its like they settle with an okay looking girl with being somewhat successful but forget about these girls who are driven, great, would do anything for them.

Why should we get punished for being just like them but in a woman’s body.

To them its like a competition and they are scared to even have someone to keep up with them OR make more money then them. ” I like success. But I want to me more successful I wear the pants”from a guy friend. I wouldn’t want to be with that guy anyways. If  a guy really liked me he would accept maybe I make more money and not compare us. Also be proud of me, like I would be him.

It is totally different with women and guys still today. Though the statistics more women are going to college and getting their degrees then men are today. Most men graduate from high school and start working right away. Not that it is a big deal you do not need a degree but we should not be punished for us going to college and choosing jobs that may make more than them. Men can get away with the good looks, making a lot of money because no matter what job they have women would adore them. We would not compare the money or who makes more. We would be like it is okay I love you for you. Even if they are jobless or still going to school we would be encouraging. Having a strong woman though in your life they ” is hard, a lot of drama” oops sorry I have an opinion and want to help you.

That is my rant for tonight. I do not hate men but I honestly think they need to step up there game and accept there are strong women in their life and shouldn’t feel ball less if they make more money or are more successful than them.
