Rachel the Riveter

Women who are independent use to be judged. They probably still are today. I am an independent women. I do not need a relationship to make me happy. I make myself happy. You have to learn to do that before loving someone. I have. I do things on my own and go out with friends. I do put my college work first because it is important to me. Before I put that work first I put myself on top of that. It sounds selfish I know. It is important to care about yourself and keep yourself healthy. For one thing,  my health comes first, then my family comes next and of course friends. I do put probably the last two I listed first but that is just who I am. Selfless. I am a very caring person but I do know I need to be that independent women that most men may hate but I do not care. I have my identity. I wear clothes I love, listen to music, dance in my undies and not give an F about what anyone thinks. If they really did know me they would know who I am. I am Rachel and I am a women. Damn Proud of it. 

Loneliness happens to all of us. I keep myself busy but it gets hard not having someone whisper in your ear to tell you that you are amazing, lay next to you, listen to you cry, be there supporting you, to love you..My definition of loneliness is not having a boyfriend but being able to love someone so much that it is missing from my life greatly. Ideally waiting is what we do or not look for them but lets face it I get tired and most likely finding it wasteful. I want to jump in there arms and even if its not that ideal Mr. Darcy. So what? For one thing,  I want to love someone so much that they know what it is like to have that best friend and lover they always wanted. I will be there to listen to them cry and laugh. I will never leave them or hurt them. Cherish and  will ever love them.

 America I love but I dislike it at the same time. We get so many ignorant people who say things that make you wonder if they are even educated. For example, I am hearing from many different Americans that the Japanese deserved it. WHO ever deserves anything like this happening to them? Are you saying they have not been through enough???? America is not PERFECT. Do not going acting all self-rigious. We have our mistakes and we did not deserve things that happened to us but don’t you dare wish horrible, hateful things on any culture. We all have our mistakes and differences. That is what makes the world go round. All of us look, sound, act, eat, dream different, and yes we may have similar thoughts we are all unique in our own way. Before you go bashing another culture think about the mistakes we make and how ignorant you sound. Watch the news, read a book or I do not know read more about other cultures to become more worldly. Until then keep your immature thoughts to yourselves because you do sound  like an ignorant, hateful jackass. 

I personally believe that men need to have more chilvary in this world. What has society come to? They think sex is basically an automatic if you go on a date with them? Do they not understand that women are more then just a body? I mean yes we have curves and we show it off some but that does not mean jump on me. I swear there are few men left who can actually pull out a chair, open a door or even pay for dinner anymore. Though I would not mind going dutch at all. I just wonder what goes through their heads? Girls are too classy to be treated like this. Yes I may sound strongly against men but that is not the case. I treat you with respect and I would like the same treatment. Men and women are equal in society. They should be treated with same kind of treatment. That is what we fought for wasn’t it? Rights for all. 

I am not saying all men are like that at all. So many good guys are out there its just weather they want to come out or not. I know so many that are questioning of being too nice. That is not true at all. Being nice to the right people who care for you EQUALLY back is rewarding in itself. Think about that next time boys and girls..how you treat others. Sex is passion yes but so is getting that first spark on the first few dates and growing that likeness for one another which could lead into passionate sex.

Men are great. 

Women are classy.

Let us blend the two and make society have some chivalry left.
